Sharon & Rachel's Civil Partnership at The Great Hall at Mains

This was the most glorious late November day ever, watery blue skies, gentle sunshine and of course very beautiful flowers.

Rachel loved the softer more summery shades of pinks, lavenders and blues, I gave them a bit of a wintery twist with the addition of some frosty shaded foliages and berries.

Rachel's wedding bouquet included Pale pink Calla lilies, Sweet Avalanche, Illusion, Rosa Belle and Vendella Roses, some sweet Pale Pink Nerines, Powder Puff Ageratum, Pale Blue Delphinium, Eryngium and Blue Agapanthus.
Little Megan carried a magic wand to match Rachel's bouquet.
Loose posy style hand ties were created for the gorgeous bridesmaids
We did the bouquet holding lesson and as you can see Megan was the best!

Then to the Great Hall to meet the lovely Sharon to pin on the buttonholes
Sean wore a Pink calla Lily too

We used the candelabras to line the aisleA fabulous pedestal of blue Delphiniums, pink Calla Lilies and Roses on the left of the fire place
And the Registrars table design was to the right

Sharon's Mum wore a corsage of Metalina & Ageratum

The Bridesmaid's bouquets toned perfectly with the Ice Blue gowns and included lots of lovely wintery materials.

The stunning Bride Rachel with her Father Ray
The Great Hall looked absolutely magnificent on such a clear and beautiful November Day

Ray wore a buttonhole of pale blue Thistles

Lizzie from The Great Hall ensured Rachel's gown was perfect (Now this is the thing about The Great Hall they think of everything, their attention to detail is second to none)

The ceremony was conducted by Kerr Andrew & Janet Bell it was really beautiful full to over flowing with love and devotion!

The lovely Lizzie with the Bucks Fizz
Huge Congratulations to Sharon & Rachel

The very special vintage cars were provided by Fylde Bridal Cars of Poulton (They give the happy couple real Champagne, unusual for car hire companies who often provide cheap fizz).
Then the dried Rose Petal Confetti shower.
The ceremony space was then transformed super effeciently into a magnificent Banqueting Hall
The registrars design then became the top table design
The tables were sprinkled with rose petals and diamantes and romantically illuminated with tea lights in frosted glass votives

I love all the little details that Twelve provide like the 12 butter pats.

And then Megan came in to check we'd all done everything beautifully.
Thank you so much to Sharon & Rachel for choosing Flower Design, we felt seriously honoured to be involved.
