Jason & I, Stewy Vuitton & Peter from S&P Hair & the Lovely Jane & Matthew from Pure Beauty had a little odyssey to Scotland for the fantastic wedding of Michelle & Chris at Glenskirslie Castle.

Michelle wore a fabulous Caroline Castigliano gown.

Chris, Michelle's uber handsome groom wore a Vendella Rose and fresh Lily of Valley in his Buttonhole.

These are our thoughts and inspirations sent to Michelle following our meetings and discussions...
Thoughts & Inspiration

The overall look we want to create for your big day is one of understated elegance, created using delicate flowers curving and swirling into a picture of vintage romance, in a continuation of your vintage style gown. We are imagining Vintage Movie stars sipping cocktails with your elegant wedding guests dripping in jewels. Subtle soft hazy glamour, candlelit and romantic.
In addition to this, we will use pale and delicate colours; whites and Ecru, Caramel shades in turn creating a definite atmosphere using twinkling candles, highlighting each graceful petal. Although, individually each arrangement is understated and seemingly acting only as a decoration or an enhancer, the overall picture will be undoubtedly significant though never deterring. The look created will be one of pure and simple beauty and prettiness. Fraught with heritage, the historic nature of your venue combined with the vintage style of your gown provides an extremely cultural basis from which all else can build upon. Allowing there to be hints of personal heritage, for instance of Scottish roots. Having such a structure to your big day helps to create a sense of sustenance and longevity, it is very real and very personal. Suggesting the happiness that is to come and the history you will create together.

The ceremony space was so completely different from the English ceremonies, there was lots of religous iconography and a lady minister from The Church of Scotalnd conducted the service.
I arranged two large floor standing candelabras with fresh flowers arranged around the branches.
The registrars table was quite small and though Michelle wanted an abundance of fresh flowers we needed to keep within the table space

Michelle looked radiant
Massive congratulations to Mr & Mrs Kilgour

Michelle's wedding bouquet was soft and romantic, I included fresh Lily of the Valley, Vendella, Renate, Metalina & Chameleon roses, Viburnum Opulus, Paper White Narcissus and lovely spring Ranunculas in white and crisp Helebores.

For the wedding breakfast we arranged Euphorbia Fulgens, Roses & Oncidium Orchids around the base of our baroque style candelabras
The ladies table favours were provided by Jane at Pure Beauty, they were an Elemis Lavender shower gel in a voile draw string bag tied up with a little bunch of dried lavender. The gents all had a miniture Whisky at their place setting.
The lower table designs were created in the silver fruit bowls that match the candelabras perfectly

The two floor standing candelabras framed the exquisite cake beautifully
