This really is one of the most beautiful places on earth set in the most magnificent countryside in the heart of the Trough of Bowland right on the bank of the River Hodder, St Michael's is a seriously quaint little Church next door to The Inn at Whitewell, where Helen & Richard would be celebrating their wedding breakfast.
~
Saturday was also the hottest day of the year, consequently arranging some of the most exquisitely delicate May blooms over the arches of the Lytch Gate and the Church Door wasn't an easy task, but with the skill and ingenuity of the Flower Design Events Team a wonderously floral wedding day was achieved with aplomb!!!
Helen's delightful Bridesmaid's looked heavenly in their pale mint green gowns carrying bouquets of Sweet Peas, Viburnum Opulus, Alchemilla Mollis, White "Blue Bells", white Brodea and Nigella
Helen is quite simply a picture of classical beauty and I think her lovely wedding bouquet of white Duchess de Nemo Peonies, fresh Lily of the Valley, fragrant Norma Jean Roses, Sweet Peas, Viburnum Opulus, Philadelphus Snowbelle and Champagne Grass complimented her look perfectly
Lanterns, Rose Petals and sweet scented Bay Trees lined the walk up to the Church door
A shower of fresh fragrant Norma Jean Rose Petals greeted the newly weds, massive congratulations from all of the team at FD Events!!
The floral theme continued into the fabulous marquee at The inn at Whitewell, with silve candlesticks topped with a majestic sphere of white and pale green Hydrangeas, Roses, Stocks and Peonies
The Marquee terrace garden was also filled with lanterns and fresh flowers, the wall overlooking the river was home to some lovely hand picked posies of Hyacinths, peonies and fragrant herbs
Our Flower Design Floral Seating Plan set on one of our filigree screens topped with a garland of Peonies, Stocks, Calla Lilies, Roses and Passion Flower trails
I can't wait to show the rest of this spectacular wedding day, the full flower story will be here very soon....
