Trial Wedding bouquet Appointment at Flower Design

This is the lovely Elise, she was my very last appointment of the day, it was Elise's 2nd formal appointment with us the one where we make the trial wedding bouquet, my favourite appointment.

We've got together a few times before though at Wedding Fayres and we've had little impromptu meetings to just fill me in on some details, we're also friends on facebook, her gorgeous Mum Sue has attended lots of Flower Design Supper Clubs & Afternoon Teas, so by now I really should completely understand their taste, the stuff that floats their boats, the flowers they love and the designs that'll suit the big day! and thank goodness I do!

So at this particular meeting, using the wedding bouquet sample as a colour/flower palette we discuss the designs for the bridesmaids, the boutonniere's , designs for the Church

And of course I make lots of suggestions for the table designs & favours.

We then take some photographs of the bouquet in natural light and artificial, we measure the bouquet, stem count it so that we can accurately cost it ready for the quotation.

We ask our wholesalers for an indication of the cost of each bloom so that the quotation is completely realistic, tomorrow Sarah will type everything up and then as soon as the prices are made available we'll email the quote, it's as simple as that.

I know Elise is going to make the most glorious bride ever, her wedding is in just a few weeks so you'll have to keep checking the blog for her wonderful wedding day.

This gorgeous wedding was collected from Flower Design very early this morning, the bride will be getting married in Gretna Green at lunch time today. We've included Lily of The Valley, Sweet Peas, Hyacinths, Tulips, Freesia & Roses in this lovely dainty all white Wedding Bouquet
