Stunning Hot Pink & Black "Cocktail" Wedding at Bartle Hall

This fabulous wedding ceremony was in the Balmoral Suite at Bartle Hall, the fireplace was filled with logs and fresh hot pink Gerbera heads the Registrars table was framed by two giant Martini Vases filled with fresh floral cocktails and the Registrars table was dressed with candlelit Goldfish Bowls

 These spring designs included Solomons Seal, spring flowering Jasmine, Peonies, Black Calla Lilies and Hot Pink Gerberas

 The Goldfish Bowls were illuminated by fat Chapel Candles surrounded by hot pink jelly with pink Gerberas, Orchids & Calla Lilies swirling around the inside of the bowl

 Outside in the lovely gardens candlelit lanterns with Orchids and Rose Petals sat on the outdoor tables

Before the ceremony we used many of the table designs to decorate the bar and bar tables

 The Groom was wearing a Dolce Vita Rose with fresh Lily of the Valley in his buttonhole

 The Brides Mum was wearing a divine epaulette Corsage of pink Lily of the Valley & Rolled Amnesia Rose Petals

 Angela our gorgeous Bride arrived along with her beautiful Bridesmaids

 The Bridesmaids were wearing black gowns with hot pink sashes, their Hot Pink & Black Bouquets toned perfectly

 The Hot Pink & Black Bridal Bouquet included Dolce Vita & Ranuncula Roses, Hot Pink Gerberas with black centres, Lily of the Valley, Ruby Peonies, Black Schwartzwalder Calla Lilies and Black Ti Dracaena Leaves with loops of flexi grass

 Cymbidium Orchids, Dolce Vita Roses, Schwartzwalder Calla Lilies and hot pink Germinis were combined to create the Bridesmaids modern Bouquets

 Following the ceremony the fabulous Martini glass designs were placed on Mirrors in the centre of the dining tables

 Goldfish bowls in varying sizes looked spectacular on the long top table

 Half of the tables were dressed with the tall martini vase designs and the other half with low Goldfish Bowl designs, creating rhythm and movement across the room

Splendid Table Designs & Fabulous Wedding Suppliers at Singleton Lodge

Singleton Lodge is such a fabulous venue, all cosy and intimate a seriously romantic venue for weddings throughout the year, on Saturday they hosted a superb wedding fair showcasing the venue beautifully and helping their Brides & Grooms to select the very best wedding suppliers on the Fylde Coast!

We were in the banqueting suite with a glorious selection of fresh wedding bouquets for Brides to try out!

The tables were dressed with a combination of high and low table centrepieces all completely in proportion with the dining tables at Singleton Lodge.

This low but oversized clear glass Martini vases complete with a fresh floral cocktail of Sweet Avalanche Roses, Ranunculas, Fragrant Broom and Bouvardia

The top table design was illuminated by the table swag provided by the superb Creative Cover Hire and the two large pillar candles forming a superb focal area perfect for highlighting the Bride & Groom!!! This design works equally well on the Registrars table during the ceremony

A fabulously tall elegant glass vase and Hand Tied sculptural design of Liatris, Oriental Lilies, Cymbidium Orchids and a plume of fragrant hot pink Broom Ginesta

For those Brides & Grooms wanting a more contemporary design this LSA clear glass cube filled with crushed ice effect jelly and then topped with Germini's studded with diamante pins and caged over with bear grass, the entire design was then placed on a square mirror and surrounded by diamante dew drops

You just can't beat a Goldfish Bowl for maximum "Low" wow!!!, I love this tangerine & Terracotta design with a chapel Candle in the centre surrounded by swirling Tulips, Roses, Ranunculas and Contorted willow.

A tray of delicious Singleton Lodge Canapes kept being replenished all day and were thoroughly enjoyed by all of the guests!!!!

Our great friend the incredible Swing Singer and all round great entertainer  Howard Wing was on hand to woo the ladies and wow the gents!!!

Singleton Lodge really was full of the beautiful people on Saturday, the uber gorgeous Emily Martin with her lovely Mum Joanne and her seriously glam Nan!!!

As many of you regular Blog readers will know Chris Astbury is one of favourite Photographers so it was really fabulous to meet his equally talented daughter

The Little House of Cup Cakes had lots of delicious samples for the guests to try!

Valentine's Day Is Next Week!

This Tuesday is Valentine's Day, and Best Wishes is here to help you express your love for that special someone, or those special people in your life.  We're getting stocked up on red roses for the traditional symbol of romantic love, a dozen long-stemmed beauties like the ones seen above.  Our roses are a cut above the ones you'd find at the gas station or grocery store, as they are fresh from Len Busch Roses in Plymouth, MN, and cared for from the moment we receive them and arrange them, to when we hand them off to you.

We have an awesome selection of gourmet chocolates to go along with your "I Love You" greetings, most of them locally made!  From unique flavors like Licorice Bite and Dark Salted Caramel to standard Milk Chocolate, these bars and truffles are delicious!

Besides roses, we make all sorts of flower arrangements to make all those loved ones in your life feel special, or to give to yourself to brighten up your home or desk at work.

In the shop right now we have all kinds of great plants, cards, gifts, and decor items.  These little orchid plants are pretty much the cutest thing, and gift that will last for years.  The flower spikes will grow back!

As well as the orchid cuties, we have a few incredible orchid plants in the shop with lots of really unique blossoms.  They are not your typical phalenopsis!

We'll be open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. this Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday, then open early in the morning 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. both Monday and Tuesday so you can come in before or after you head to work.

Masonic Function at Blackpool Football Club

Frosty, sparkly whites were the order of the day of this fabulous event at Blackpool Football Club, the lady of honour was presented with a hand held posy of white Tulips, Avalanche & Amnesia Roses, Bouvardia, Ranunculas, fragrant Rosemary, Eucalyptus and Muscari.

The top table looked magical with fairylit Goldfish Bowls in various sizes filled with posies of fresh flowers

Each of the guest dining table had a huge Goldfish bowl half filled with crushed ice effect sparkly jelly with posies of White Tulips, Ranunculas, Calla Lilies Crystal Blush and Gerberas with Cymbidium Orchids set into the jelly

Each posy had a ribbon loop so they could be lifted gently out of the submerged vase in the centre of the bowl

Fairy lights were spread throughout the jelly in each bowl and when lit created a really magical look
