The bridal bouquets were delivered bright and early to the family home, I'd used strong bold colours to reflect our Bride & Grooms personalities, throughout the designs a combination of English Garden blooms and Scottish Thistles were included making the most of Sue's English & Keith's Scottish heritage
The presentation of the bouquets went well which is always a relief and Sue was already looking wonderful
The lovely Caroline went to school with my daughter Olivia
And the equally lovely Michelle went to school with my daughter Rebecca
Sue's super gorgeous Mum was wearing a beautiful corsage of Roses, Sweet Peas, Hydrangeas and thistles that matched her jacket beautifully
The ceremony was being held at St Annes Church in Singleton, a fabulous Church for so many reasons but not least because of it's seclusion, the amazing tree cover provides the perfect natural canopy protecting everyone from the weather and on this particular wedding day it was absolutely essential
We'd dressed the door arch with a magnificent floral garland of fresh flowers including Hydrangeas in a myriad of shades, Sweet Williams, Roses, Peonies and Phlox
Inside the Church two magnificent pedestals were placed on either side of the ceremony space, we'd used dramatic Delphiniums, Peonies, Roses, Hydrangeas, Stocks and Sweet William
On the Altar two "L" shaped designs framed the Cross perfectly
First to arrive was Sue's handsome Bride Groom Keith he was wearing a rather special Boutonniere of a Darcey Rose a Schwartzwalder Calla Lily & a Thistle
The Ushers and Groom's Men were all presented with "Memory Lane Rose Boutonnieres
The fabulous photographer for the day was the brilliant Steve Ashton from Ashton Photography
Keith and Pauline are old friends of ours we did flowers for their daughter Emma's wedding a few years ago, it was lovely to see them both again
The Bridesmaids arrived looking fabulous and their flowers looked superb with the two tone fabric of their gowns
The Bridesmaids Bouquets were a smaller version of the Bridal Bouquet and included Peonies, Roses, Hydrangeas and Sweet Peas
Our beautiful Bride Sue arriving in style
Huge Congratulations to Sue & Keith from all of the team here at Flower Design Events
The arch of flowers over the front door of Church looked totally fabulous when the Bride & Groom were leaving
The festivities moved on to the magical surroundings of The Great Hall at Mains one of my all time favourite wedding venues
We designed tall magnificent table centrepieces in LSA Vases topped with Delphiniums, Roses, Peonies and Calla Lilies especially for Keith & Sue
The Cake Topper was insane
The Church Pedestals were transported to behind the top table and looked equally as magnificent as they had done in Church
The top table was exquisite, laden with Sweet Peas, Roses, Peonies and Hydrangeas, illuminted by a series of small candelabras
My favourite caterers Twelve were creating the food for the day
The beautiful Chriss Manager at TGHM and Cheese decorator extrodinaire
Our lovely friend owners of The Great Hall at Mains Roger & Adele
