This was a fantastic winter wedding day lots Victorian excitement at Quarry Bank Mill, a superb couple the lovely Lynn & Paul, Owls delivering the rings and plenty more besides...
First delivery, the bridal bouquets a little bridal bouquet carrying lesson for the Bridesmaids before we headed off to the wedding venue in Styal
Quarry Bank Mill is a fully preserved textile mill with a working water wheel, it's bursting with Industrial Revolution atmosphere and it's totally fabulous
The ceremony space is in one of the smaller buildings but has unique mill style windows overlooking the river, we dressed the ceremony space with two candlesticks dressed with spheres of fresh flowers in the bridal colour scheme of purple.
The elegant design on the Registrars table flowed down waterfall style to the river of Rose petals belowWe included some gorgeous purple blooms, Vanda Orchids, Cool Water & Ocean Song Roses
The Groom's Mum's handbag corsage of white Phalaenopsis Orchids and rolled ivory Rose Petals
The Boutonnieres were all labelled up and ready for me to pin them on the guests
The Groom's Aubergine Calla Lily Boutonniere complete with blue Eryngium Thistle and Purple Symphony Floribunda Rose buds.
The Groom arrived in this superb VW Camper Van
The Salvation Arm Brass Band entertained everyone as they arrived

The very special Bridal Bouquet was inspired by Lynn's Mum's wedding bouquet which featured fountains of Asparagus ferns
The Bridesmaid's Posies complimented their pewter and purple gowns
Paul waited patiently for the arrival of his Bride
Angel flew to Jacob with the wedding rings right on schedule

Lynn's wedding bouquet included some beautiful deep purple Vanda Orchids alongside exquisite lavender Roses, fresh Lily of the Valley and aubergine Calla lilies all emanating from fountains of fresh Asparagus trails
The celebrations were to be held on the floor above the ceremony room
Styal Mill really is full of surprises this wedding breakfast room looked completely splendid
We arranged a selection of high and low table designs, I love the low silver fruit bowl filled to overflowing with Calla Lilies, Roses and Orchids in shades of deep purple and lavender
The tall designs were on our elegant silver candlesticks topped with a sphere of Roses, Herbs, Orchids and Lissianthus
The Cake of cheeses was just amazing from the Cheese Hamlet in Didsbury, just finished off with a few flowers
This was such a special wedding in many ways and we'd really like to thank Paul and Lynn for choosing Flower Design Events to create their wedding flowers for such an amazing day!!!
