Elegant Vintage Purple Wedding at Bartle Hall; Emma & Michael

Another gorgeous couple with great taste, this was such a joy to work on, the shades were lovely deep purple through to vintage lavenders, a perfect choice for the elegant English Country house surroundings of Bartle Hall...

The beautiful Bride Emma and Bridesmaid Meikee were getting ready in one of the suites at Bartle Hall when Jason caught up with them to present the bridal bouquets and to give the all important FD Events bridal bouquet carrying lesson

The Bridal bouquets were created from a delicious selection of spring blooms including White Lilac, Double lilac Tulips, "Vermeer" Calla Lilies, Deep Purple Anemones & Sweet Peas, Antique shaded Roses, fragrant Eucalyptus, Lavender & Champagne Grass

We left Emma & her Bridesmaids in search of the Bride Groom Michael

Michael was wearing a Boutonniere that reflected his Bride's Bouquet

We included a "Vermeer" Calla Lily, Rolled Amnesia & Memory Lane Rose Petals, Sprigs of Oregano, Lavender & Rosemary and completed with Ivy Leaves & Champagne Grass

The Groom's Men had Memory Lane Roses with Lavender and Rosemary pinned into their lapels

For Mum and glorious wrist corsage of deep purple Sweet Peas

The Marriage Ceremony was to be held in The Windsor Suite, we'd arranged two elegant candelabras of fresh flowers on either side of the Registrars table and a classic tradition Registrars table design

The Candelabras were placed on silver pedestal stands

The Candelabras were dressed with Purple Broom Ginesta, fragrant Lavender Stocks, a selection of Vintage Roses, Oregano and White Lilac

The Registrars table design was the perfect focal point to the ceremony setting, we included two large candles in the centre and then used fragrant Broom Ginesta and Stocks to stretch the design to the outer reaches of the table, "Vermeer" Calla lilies dominated the focal area together with a selection of Roses, Tulips, Lilac & Sweet Peas

The fireplaces were decorated with illuminated candles and Goldfish bowl designs

The lovely and brilliant Hayley from Bartle Hall, her presence ensures a splendid and perfectly run wedding day! 

The beautiful Flower Girls were next to arrive, Aneliese carried an enchanting Magic wand whilst Bethany carried a gorgeous little posy of Roses and Lilac

Emma looked simply stunning as she joined the rest of the Bridal Party at the foot of the stairs

Hayley and her brilliant team had transformed The Windsor Suite into a spectacular banqueting suite

The tables were dressed with a combination of high and low table designs, the lower designs were these lovely Goldfish bowls incorporating a large pillar candle in the centre surounded by Calla Lilies, Tulips, Phlox,  Sweet Peas & Anemones, Dill and Lilac

The top table design moved from the Registrars table and extended slightly to look in proportion with the top table

The elegant candelabras now graced some of the guest tables and looked so beautiful

Spring Update - Part 1

We're gearing up for Spring in a big way this week at Best Wishes.  If you need something to get you in the mood for the warm weather to come, stop in and we'll help you find just what you're looking for.

These garden baskets have been really fun to make, with our beautiful blooming hydrangea plants paired with a selection of other lovely blooming and green plants like spathiphyllum, purple passion and fittonia, they're sure to bring a fresh look to your home or office.  Some of them got the Easter treatment as well;  robin's eggs, Easter grass and colorful twigs give a very festive touch.

Our watch-them-grow bulb gardens are really the nicest around, in larger pots with an experienced design touch, you won't find them like this at the supermarket!  Great gifts or something to treat yourself with, you really can't go wrong.  Stop in and see the full selection!

The beautiful locally-grown pink tulips in this Easter centerpiece bring together a colorful spring look for the dinner table, just a sample of the awesome work we do!

Jade plants and Somona aka Crown of Thorns give an arid feel to this succulent terrarium.  Earthy!

This Crown of Thorns is sharing a bowl with fittonia, fittonia, and more fittonia!  Get out the shrink ray because I'm moving in to this miniature paradise!
