Fabulous Wedding in The Orangery at The Inn at Whitewell

The scene was set in The Orangery at The Inn at Whitewell for a beautiful ceremony

The Wedding bouquet was a glorious collection of scented Spring blooms including Lilac, Lily of the Valley, Ranunculas and lots more loveliness besides

The Wedding Breakfast was enjoyed in the Orangery too, we'd dressed the magnificent long table with a series of tall Candelabras, and elegant posies all candle lit and romantic

The Great Hall at Mains was beautifully dressed with elegant floral candelabras, Hurricane lamps lining the aisle with fresh fragrant Rose Petals surrounding each one, Posies of fresh Posies were attached to the stunning chair covers from Creative Cover Hire

The most adorable Page Boy wearing a miniature version o the Groom's Boutonniere

The Bridesmaid's Posies of Lilac, Roses, Lissianthus, Wax Flower Blossom, Anemones & Scabiosa were a perfect accessory to the deep purple gowns, the handles of the bouquets were covered in the same fabric as the Bridesmaids gowns.

2nd Annual Empty Bowls Event

We are pleased to be participating in the 2nd Annual Empty Bowls event in Golden Valley this coming March. If you haven't heard of Empty Bowls, its a really neat group dedicated to fighting hunger across the country. Artists and craftspeople are invited to make bowls, which are given to anyone who makes a donation, along with a meal of soup and bread. The proceeds of this event are going to PRISM and NEAR, two local organizations that provide all kinds of much-needed services to the community. Did you know PRISM distributes 2,000 pounds of food a day?
Stop in at the shop and bid on one of the beautiful ceramic bowls, a keepsake that will show your support for ending hunger in our community. Together, we make a difference!

Linzi's wedding bouquet included her favourite Spring flowers, fragrant White Freesia, Scented Muscari, White Lilac, Pale Blue Hydrangeas, Creamy Pink Bombastic Floribunda Roses, Sweet Avalanche & Avalanche Roses, Blue Eryngium Thistle and Baby Blue Eucalyptus.

The Wedding Ceremony was held at Springfield House in Pilling, we arranged two Candelabras on pedestal stands to frame the Registrars table where a glorious candlelit swag of fresh flowers foliages sat in the centre, two lovely vintage birdcages filled with fresh flowers were on the two end tables, the scene was well and truly set for the Ceremony

The Bridesmaid's Posies of fresh Sweet Avalanche & Avalanche Roses, Bombastic Floribunda Roses, Pale Blue Hydrangeas, white Freesia, White Lilac, Deep Blue Thistles and Viburnum Berries looked absolutely perfect with their navy blue gowns.

If you, like me, love the world of Vintage bridal wear from 1920's Chic, The Raj in India, Hollywood Glamour to Shimmering Mermaids, One & Only and the world of Jenny Packham will simply blow you away to a fantasy land of bridal loveliness!!!!

I've chosen some bridal bouquets that I think work beautifully with these stunning gowns, for me this gown "Eden"has more than a touch of Art Deco deliciousness as a consequence the Bridal Bouquet of Vintage Roses including some fragrant English Garden Roses, delicate stems of fragrant Lily of the Valley that really depict the exquisite beading on the gown is the perfect accessory.

Sheree is the incredibly brilliant manager at One and Only, she has "The Eye" for putting the right gown on the right Brides, I respect her opinion and taste, she really is a very talented lady!!!

Seriously strong bold colours are used here in this "flapper Girl" inspired bridal bouquet of English Country Garden Blooms, Fragrant Lavender, Peppermint & Eucalyptus create the perfect backdrop to the luscious deep purple Delphinium Heads, Delicate plumes of Champagne Grass, Powder Puff Ageratum and Deep pink Peonies and Hydrangeas
