Wedding Dress Spectacular, Dreamcatcher Open Evening

What an amazing evening we had in the company of Gill & Georgina and the wonderful team of extremely professional bridal wear specialists at Dreamcatcher Bridal in Kirkham.

The scene was set with a beautiful spring window display, gorgeous gowns flanking a huge Champagne flute filled with Muscari & Bridal Crown, when we delivered this floral cocktail a fortnight ago the bulbs were just peeping through the mosses in the bowl of the glass, now look at them!

The guest list had been prepared weeks ago, anticipation filled the air as we waited to view the brand new 2009 - 2010 Bridal wear collection selected and carefully chosen by Jill & Georgina.
I'd made some delicious bridal bouquets to compliment the gowns and the beautiful models.

I used a sumptuous selection of spring flowers in a great range of colours.

This Rose and Calla lily hand tied bridal posy is so simple and easy to carry.

Passionate pink, Aqua Roses, Hyacinths, Tulips and rolled leaves, make this a very neat wedding bouquet.
Now dear reader remember this is a Flower Design Blog and as such this posting is awash with fab flower photos, the gowns are here for your delectation, should you want a closer look simply double click on any picture for an instant enlarged view, and click on links to see more of the dresses and their designers.

The "Party Bags" were ready for the invited brides to take home, each bag was filled with goodies including a silver sixpence and a delicious chocolate (Only one mind, you have to watch your weight).
This is the exquisitely gorgeous Katie
"Here Come The Girls" our beautiful Brides for the evening, Mandy, Claire, Abby and Georgina

Dreamcatcher is a superb wedding dress emporium they stock a fantastical array of designers in an enormous range of colours and styles. Seeing is believing but if want to pay them a visit make sure you make an appointment first, I saw their diary which was to say the least "chocka blocka"

Brides had an opportunity to hold the bouquets, try them for size so to speak.

Helen looks on, she's responsible for the all the alterations at Dreamcatcher.

This Green Wedding bouquet was one of my favourites with Midori Anthuriums, Cymbidium Orchids & Leucadendrons.
We were all entertained by the wonderful "Swing Singer" Paul Guard

Abby looked fabulous with the brighter deeper tones.

The very gorgeous Mandy with the lovely passionate pink bouquet.

The evening was filled with lots of laughter.

All of us had the opportunity of being able to see the dresses close up, to ask the models questions about comfort and manoeuvrability.

Abby couldn't have looked more perfect if she'd tried, her colouring is exquisite.

We were treated to so many designs it was almost impossible to choose a favourite.

Jill managed a dance with Paul who was absolutely fabulous and I can highly recommend him, if you haven't got a wedding singer booked Paul is your man give him a call on 07740 080809 you can check out his genius on his web site which has a great sound track click on the link Paul Guard.
