Introducing a Brand New David Austin Rose Darcy at a Wedding I can't share with you until after it's appeared in OK Magazine!!!

This is the fabulous new cut Rose from David Austin "Darcy" it is a fabulous rose that juxtaposes well with other shades, with Miranda here it appears deep pink, where as when we used it alongsie Patience it really was deep RED (Which is, I presume the colour they want it to be), today I put it with Amnesia and suddenly it became deep purple, I'll post these pics later in the week. We all felt that it was a really good, strong rose, they arrived with us last Thursday and were reaching their peak today, so a good laster too, though for weddings and events you'll need to buy it in, in plenty of time for it to open, these pics were taken on Saturday way before it opened fully.
We will be allowed to share some very beautiful images with you from this utterly exquisite wedding once OK have published their pictures, so we'll all have to keep buying OK for the forseeable future (Not a huge problem for me as I love it!)

Beverley & Graham Smith's "Aqua Marine Dream" Wedding at Bartle Hall

Bev's Wedding Bouquet has more than just a hint of Autumn, I included fresh Blackberries, Scabiosa & Poppy Seed Heads, Fragrant Stephanotis & Dill, Metalina & Patience Roses, Viburnum Opulus Berries, Peppermint and Butter Splash Laurel, we talked about the bouquet having a natural garden gathered vibe, Bev was really keen on the idea of it not looking too contrived or artificially constructed, and this hand tied style of bridal bouquet truly delivers.
The very intimate ceremony was to be hed in the Garden Room at Bartle Hall, which overlooks their fantastic gardens, so the use of garden materials in our designs made them look absolutely at home.

I love the giant Dill/Yarrow in the pedestal and all of that fragrant Jasmine.

The Dream Team again Steve & Stephanie Ashton, Photographers extrodinaire

You may recognise Kath the registrar and you may also notice that yet again her chosen outfit matches the wedding colours perfectly, if you check out this one you'll notice she got it spot on there too.

Graham the lovely Groom Rosemary made Graham a gorgeous Metalina Rose Boutonniere, with all sorts of lovely bits of floral frippery.

Congratulations to Bev & Graham, we wish you lots of happiness always.

Bartle Hall is always absolutely immaculate, the team there are so committed to delivering the highest possible standards that it is quite simply faultless.

Vicky made this lovely Flower Design "Floral Seating Plan" and as it was a very intimate affair she used tea lights on the rest of the screen.

The Table Centres were on Crystal Cake Stands with lots of lovely fragrant flowers and herbs arranged on top.

The registrars table design was moved to the Fireplace after the ceremony.

The Top Table include two pretty bird cages filled with fresh flowers.
