I think I love Autumn the best, I love the colour of the air, I love the materials, the richness, the textures, glossy berries and golden leaves, velvety roses and taffeta celosia.

I was really looking forward to this wedding, for lots of reasons, Gillian & Martin are fab & fun with capital F's,
The Great Hall at Mains is one of my all time favourite venues and I'd be working with my old sparring partner
Jonny Draper Photography, the caterers were the incredible
Twelve Event Management Team all in all a fantastic day was to be had for all involved!
The Groom's very glamorous Sister & Mum
Chriss is the manager at TGHM she heads up a seriously effecient and friendly team there, they really make everyone feel so welcome, service providers and guests alike which is what makes it such a joy to work there.
I had a touch of shoe envy so took the photograph of the most fabulous killer heels

Charlotte (Brand new bridal co-ordinator at TGHM) and Roger (Adele's hubby)
The fabulous Kerr Andrew Registrar extrodinaire

The little red Beetle was so cute

The Bride's Mum was looking fantastic

This photograph was taken by Jonny Draper and I just loved it so I mithered and mithered until he sent it to me, thanks JD you are a star!

The Bridesmaid was wearing Teal so I created the wedding bouquet to tone perfectly

We all waited patiently on the steps outside for the arrival of The Bride & her Father

Inside The Groom & Best Men were waiting slightly less patiently

And it was so worth the wait Gillian looked wonderful and so did her dad

Chriss billowing the skirts (Attention to detail is what The Great Hall is famous for)

I'd arranged tall stands at the foot of the "aisle" these were topped with an explosion of Roses, Berries and Calla Lilies

Massive Congratulations to this fantastic couple

Gillian's bouquet in Magenta, Teal, Ruby Reds and Aubergine included David Austin's Darcy, Viburnum Opulus Berry, Magenta Celosia, Hot Chocolate Calla Lilies, Autumn Blue Hydrangeas and Quick Sand Roses

The table centrepieces incorporated the Brides own filigree card holder hearts these were used to hold individual table name (which included a little tale of why the name was chosen) and menu cards one for each guest to keep

The napkin rings were created from candy bracelets and watches

We arranged high and low designs as this gives texture and interest to the room

Candlelit Top Table traditional design

The caterers were the phenominal Twelve Event Management & Catering team

I had such a great day and I know Gillian & Martin did, huge thanks to them for choosing Flower Design to create and style the flowers for their Big Day!
