Greetings From Holland

Today has been a very long day, quite a fabulous day actually, we're here in Holland as guests of Metz our main supplier, I will of course fill you in on all of the details in due course but there's just too much to tell you... it's tale that takes us across three countries, a tale of flowers, a tale of newly formed friendships, a tale of incredible food & drink and some serious anecdotes... but for now I'd just like to introduce you to my cast of characters...tomorrow I'll tell you a little bit more

Westleigh Wedding Open Day

This is the lovely Rebekah from Westleigh, she's organising a fabulous open weekend for their wedding clients old and new on 23rd & 24th of October we'll be creating some lovely designs to dress the tables, I hope we'll see you there! 

Flower Design Visit to Dreamcatcher Bridal

I visited the lovely Georgina & Gill at Dreamcatcher Bridal to check out some of their newly delivered gowns, this is one of my favourites a truly fabulous gown by Maria Karin.

I took them some flowers which they seemed pleased with which is always a good thing. I do like to see their new stock, so I try to visit every couple of months or so which helps me to truly visualize the gowns when they're described to me by our Brides, understanding the fabrics, the shape, the weight of the gowns, the detail and so on really helps when it comes to designing the perfect bridal bouquet, so huge thanks to Gill & Georgina for making me so welcome I had a lovely afternoon.

Dreamcatcher is famous for the "Perfect Fit" their seamstress is sublime with bridal gowns measured expertly, their entire team has superb taste and they know exactly which dress will suit which body shape an or personality, they are and exceptional business and we love them!

Christmas Door Wreath Workshops

Sunday 5th December at The Clifton Arms Tickets £25.00 inclusive of Demonstration & tuition, welcome drink, canapes, lunch & afternoon tea

Sunday 12th December at Browsholme Hall catered by With a Twist Tickets £30.00 inclusive of Demonstration & tuition, welcome drink, canapes, lunch & afternoon tea

The Door Wreaths will be charged for on the day dependent upon size Small £40.00- £50.00 Medium £50.00-£60.00 Large £60.00-£85.00 extra Large £85.00

The workshops will be great fun and they're dead easy too, a bit like painting by numbers, I put in the outline of foliage then everyone follows suit, then I put in the middle bit and everyone does the same and so on and so on until we have lots of beautifully completed totally scrummy door wreaths. All of the materials and tools will be provided.

Itinerary

10:00 am Arrival drink and breakfast canapes will be served, health and safety talk re-safe use of scissors etc

10:30 am Christmas Wreath Workshop commences with Jane Jason and the Flower Design Team. Everyone start to make their own wreaths.

12:00 Noon Traditional Sunday Lunch is served

1:00pm Continue to make until completion your own Christmas Wreaths and an opportunity to create your own Fresh Garlands for fireplaces & Staircases

~

3:00pm Afternoon Tea will be served

~

4:00pm Jonny Draper will photograph each person with their completed design
