2nd Annual Empty Bowls Event

We are pleased to be participating in the 2nd Annual Empty Bowls event in Golden Valley this coming March.  If you haven't heard of Empty Bowls, its a really neat group dedicated to fighting hunger across the country.  Artists and craftspeople are invited to make bowls, which are given to anyone who makes a donation, along with a meal of soup and bread.  The proceeds of this event are going to PRISM and NEAR, two local organizations that provide all kinds of much-needed services to the community.  Did you know PRISM distributes 2,000 pounds of food a day?
Stop in at the shop and bid on one of the beautiful ceramic bowls, a keepsake that will show your support for ending hunger in our community.  Together, we make a difference!

Linzi's wedding bouquet included her favourite Spring flowers, fragrant White Freesia, Scented Muscari, White Lilac, Pale Blue Hydrangeas, Creamy Pink Bombastic Floribunda Roses, Sweet Avalanche & Avalanche Roses,  Blue Eryngium Thistle and Baby Blue Eucalyptus.

The Wedding Ceremony was held at Springfield House in Pilling, we arranged two Candelabras on pedestal stands to frame the Registrars table where a glorious candlelit swag of fresh flowers foliages sat in the centre, two lovely vintage birdcages filled with fresh flowers were on the two end tables, the scene was well and truly set for the Ceremony

 The Bridesmaid's Posies of fresh Sweet Avalanche & Avalanche Roses, Bombastic Floribunda Roses, Pale Blue Hydrangeas, white Freesia, White Lilac, Deep Blue Thistles and Viburnum Berries looked absolutely perfect with their navy blue gowns.
