Jason & I were lucky enough to be invited to the opening night of The Producers last night, it was totally brilliant and every credit to The Director Sarah Stone, and all of the cast and backstage team, this was a truly stunning performance.
We laughed from the moment the curtain went up right up to getting in the car to go home, you know when a show is really good when you're still talking about it when you get to work the next day and I am!.
The cast were exceptional, we'd been to see the "Peter Kay" production a couple of years ago and couldn't imagine this "Blackpool" version being a patch on it but I was so wrong, we got to know other characters far better, just brilliant.
The choreography was fab, Simon Green is so clever, and what a joy to see him on stage he's such a pro!
"Leo & Max" what can I say, I loved them, wanted to take them home, so much energy great singing and "Ula" I just want her legs and to be able to dance like that amazing!
Our dear friend Peter Taylor (Loved the dungarees!), for us he was the star of the show well sort off, he was as brilliant as ever!
