Beautiful People & a Perfect Purple Wedding Day at The Great Hall at Mains


This was a truly glorious wedding day the weather was just spectacular, brilliant blue skies and blazing sunshine not what you'd expect for a Friday in February, some say the sun always shines over The Great Hall at Mains!!

First delivery of the day; the gorgeous wedding bouquets in shades of Ivories and Purples to our lovely Bride Laura and all of her Bridesmaids
Our beautiful Bride Laura even managed to look amazing with rollers in!!

No-one was left out, girls are seriously good at multi-tasking
Next stop The Great Hall at Mains, elegantly dressed with silver Candelabras on silver stands, hurricane lamps surrounded by fragrant Rose Petals and fabulous chair covers and ceiling drapes by Dawn from Creative Cover Hire

The Baroque style silver candelabras were stood on our brand new for 2012 silver pedestal stands, the candelabras were dressed with Cool Water Roses, Purple Prince Tulips, Ageratum, Pin Cushion Scabious and Purple Lissianthus
The aisle complete with cream carpet again from Creative Cover Hire was lined with clear glass Hurricane lamps surrounded by fragrant Rose Petals from Ocean Song, Cool Water and Memory Lane Roses
On the Chairs lining the aisle fresh posies of fragrant lilac Stocks, Pin Cushion Scabious, Cool Water, Ocean Song & Memory Lane Roses, deep purple Lisianthus, Chico Palm, Thalaspi and Galax were attached creating a glorious floral walkway for the Bride & her Father

The Registrars table was graced with a candle lit traditional table design 


The Boutonnieres & Corsages were already to be pinned on

Lee's was wearing a very special Groom's Boutonniere designed to coordinate with his Bride's Wedding Bouquet, we included fresh Rosemary, a Cool Water Rose, Deep Purple Lisianthus, Snow Flake Rose Buds, Wax Flower Blossom and Ivy Leaves

The stunning Bridesmaid's were the first to arrive of the Bridal party and were expertly photographed by the brilliant girls from Abigail & Eye Photography

This gorgeous purple wedding bouquet designed to tone with Cadbury's Purple included Amnesia, Memory Lane, Cool Water, Purple Symphony & Bombastic Roses together with Classic Purple Hydramgea Florets, Deep Purple double Lissianthus, Wax Flower Blossom, Oregano, Pin Cushion Scabious, Purple Anemones and Eucalyptus and fresh fragrant Rosemary


The Bridesmaids Bouquets were a smaller version of the Brides Bouquet and their handles were covered with the same purple fabric as the Bridesmaids gowns

The super adorable pageboy Harvey was wearing a miniature version of the Bride Groom's Boutonniere

The Bride's lovely Mum Sheila was wearing an ivory Wrist Corsage of Ivory Rose Buds
Following the ceremony the Room was transformed into a magnificent banqueting suite

The elegant silver candelabras dressed with a profusion of purple blooms adorned some of the dining tables

Some of the tables had the Hurricane lamps from the aisle and the chair dressing posies now in glass vases set on to the large mirror plates in the centre of the tables

Twelve Event Management were in charge of the catering, they really are superb and we love their attention to detail even the butter is 12
The Registrars Table design found a new home on the Top Table where it looked splendid
The magnificent Cup Cake tower was created by Laura's Auntie
