John & Danielle Allen's Wedding at The Great Hall at Mains, Saturday 11th July 2009

Shirl & Malcolm delivered the Bridal Bouquets at around 8:30 on Saturday morning whilst the girls were having their hair done, Shirl did the bouquet holding lesson and introduced Danielle to all the lovely flowers in her bridal bouquet.

Then to The Great Hall at Mains to set up for the Ceremony, we used huge LSA Vases on stands swathed in Passion Flower tendrils and filled the vases with an abundance of gorgeous seasonal blooms including Hollyhocks, Delphiniums, Peonies & Hydrangeas.

The windwsills and occasional tables were decorated with small posies in glass vases and Birdcages filled with English Roses and Herbs

We placed a fresh flowing design with trails of Jasmine, Passion Flower & Patience Roses on the Registrars table

The Groom John wore a Buttonhole of Vendella Rose with Rolled Avalanche Petals and Fresh Lily of the Valley.

Jo & Rachel were the Flower Design Florists in attendance all day and they pinned on all the Boutonierres, took all of our photographs and looked after the change around of flowers following the ceremony.

The gorgeous Bridesmaids arrived, their bouquets included Amnesia, Metalina, Vendella, Patience & Avalanche Roses, Hydrangea and lovely White Peonies. The Bridesmaids had a few flowers in their hair

Danielle's Bridal Bouquet included English Garden Roses from David Austin, Ivory Peonies, Sweet Peas, Lily of the Valley, Chincherinchee Arabicum and soft gentle herbs and grasses

Danielle is just so beautiful and such a lovely person too, I've enjoyed the planning so much, danielle & John live in Belgium so we've had a few very long phone calls and lots of e-mails so it was great to meet all of the family last week

The Photographer for the day was one of our all time favourites Spencer Cartwright from Repartage Photography, we think he's a bit "edgy" great fun and seriously full of energy and all round great professional. (we also think he's quite cute too!) Spencer has just started a Blog which should be brilliant.

Ginormous congratulations to John & Danielle, what a glorious wedding day!

The caterers were Heathcotes another one of our favourites, everything is always totally spot on, immaculately clean and the tastes and flavours are beautiful.

As always The Great Hall at Mains looked superb and every credit to Chriss and her team she runs a tight ship there and you just feel immensley confident that everything will run smoothly and it always does.

We dressed the tables with a combination of designs, we used Verdi Gris Candelabras with Jasmine and Passion Flower and fresh Roses, Birdcages and on the top table and low design with candles in the centre.
