Christmas Door Wreath Making at Browsholme Hall, Images by Jonny Draper
This was the final Workshop for 2010 and what a fantastic day we all had, the weather was perfect, the setting sublime and an absolutely great bunch of people to work with....
The fresh foliages and berries were arranged outside for easy selection and to look stunningly festive for Jonny Draper photographer extrodinaire to photograph them
The ladies and gentlemen were eager to get started
Everyone appeared to be having a great time
The work benches were already set up with scissors, aprons, gloves, bin bags and the all imortant Blue Spruce

The size issue, small one or a big one? you decide...
Then we were off, snipping and stripping...
Katarina was on hand offering assistance

There in the background you can just about spot the lovely Tom Harrington from Silk Wedding Videos and the sensational Emma Draper Make up artist to the stars, (thank you so much for your help Emma)
Once all of that foliaging was completed it was time for lunch prepared by With a Twist
The dining room was dressed with some lovely Flower Design table centrepieces
And we were all entertained by the incredible "Brothers of Swing"
Time for a final mince pie before getting back to the very serious business of wreath making
Many thanks to the Rebecca Clarke for organising such a splendid event for Browsholme Hall
Dried Oranges and Cinnamon all wired up and ready

Tomorrow the voting commences to find the very best wreath created during this seasons Christmas Wreath Making Odyssey, the lucky winner will be presented with £150.00 worth of fabulous fresh flowers at FD HQ on Christmas Eve and they'll be crowned King or Queen of FD Christmas Wreath Making 2010, can't wait...

The Grand in St Annes was the setting for our second 2010 Christmas Wreath Making Workshop, this was an evening event hosted by the very wonderful Mandy Webb, and was yet again a complete sell out, but hey what can you expect when, you've got some fabulous door wreaths to be created and The Grand's world famous Tapas on offer too!!!
Throughout these workshops we've had the most fabulous selection of Christmas evergreens to work with and the smell was just so nostalgic
There was a plethora of beautiful ladies there for the intrepid Jonny Draper to photograph 
Our very own completely fabulous Sally Wilkinson was on hand throughout the evening, advising and generally directing the work on the back row.
Love the polka dot ribbon
Aprons and rubber gloves were essential
Lots of bubbles

The finishing touches, it was all getting quite serious...
In the interests of fair play, the individual wreaths and their designers shots will be here to vote on, on Friday together with all of the wonderful wreath makers from the rest of the workshops.
