Were back!

Holland

Well we are back from our flower-buying trip to Holland. It was beautiful!!
Pictured in our blog is an item we tripped on and quite frankly keep tripping on – Rainbow Roses. We have hesitated to buy the Rainbow Rose, as we have been unsure if our customer would appreciate this particular type of rose. So feedback would be greatly appreciated would you but this rose for $7.00 a stem?

Keep us on our toes ! ! ! Tell us what you think, tell us what you want!!

The Producers, Blackpool Grand Theatre

Jason & I were lucky enough to be invited to the opening night of The Producers last night, it was totally brilliant and every credit to The Director Sarah Stone, and all of the cast and backstage team, this was a truly stunning performance.
We laughed from the moment the curtain went up right up to getting in the car to go home, you know when a show is really good when you're still talking about it when you get to work the next day and I am!. The cast were exceptional, we'd been to see the "Peter Kay" production a couple of years ago and couldn't imagine this "Blackpool" version being a patch on it but I was so wrong, we got to know other characters far better, just brilliant.
The choreography was fab, Simon Green is so clever, and what a joy to see him on stage he's such a pro!
"Leo & Max" what can I say, I loved them, wanted to take them home, so much energy great singing and "Ula" I just want her legs and to be able to dance like that amazing!
Our dear friend Peter Taylor (Loved the dungarees!), for us he was the star of the show well sort off, he was as brilliant as ever!
The standing ovation last night was so well deserved I'm sure there'll be one every night of the run.
I've whipped these pictures off The Grand Theatre Web site
Performance Times: Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30pm, Wednesday and Saturday at 2.00pm and Sunday at 3.00pm

Friday 10th July, Ainsley Harriott will be signing books at SilverDell Book Shop in Kirkham

I love Ainsley, I met him as Chelsea Flower Show a few years ago and he was so lovely, he took time out to speak with anyone and everyone. There are so many celebs that are deeply dissapointing when you meet them but Ainsley exceeded my expectations.

He's got bags of energy and he's not skinny (You can't trust skinny chef's I think). Any way he'll be at SilverDell signing books on Friday at 1:00pm, I wish I could be there but I'll be at a wedding, so give him a hug off me I'm sure he'll remember me! (Well probably not, but I can dream)
