The Wild Wedding at Holy Trinity Church Hoghton

Another rainy start to the day on Saturday morning, but again it cheered up just in time for the action.
~
So Jason and I were in Leyland very early to deliver the bridal bouquets, Corsages and the Flowers for the Bridesmaid's Hair.
~
Becky's wedding bouquet was full of blousy roses, fragrant Sweet Peas and Stephanotis and soft swathes of fresh Passion Flower
~
Becky's gorgeous Mum's corsage of fresh Lavender, Peppermint and Rosemary smelled heavenly
The Bridesmaid's Bouquets included a fragrant collection of fresh herbs and English garden flowers

Becky's father was the Priest at Holy Trinity Church in Hoghton for many years before they moved out to France, it's a beautiful Church very close to the hearts of the Sawle family so a natural choice for Becky & Ricky. Consequently the floral decor in Church was really important.
Each windowsill was dressed with fresh flowers and candelit lanterns

We met up with the Groom's party about an hour or so before the ceremony and pinned on their boutonierres, the Groom's Buttonhole included Lily of the Valley, Delphinium Florets and Pale pink Hydrangea.
Ricky's Dad Chris was wearing a Sweet Avalanche Rose in his lapel
I used Delphiniums in pale blue, pale pink and white alongside lots of luscious Roses, peonies & Hydrangeas in the huge pedestal designs
The Pews were dressed with small posies of Sweet Peas, fresh Lavender, Astilbe and David Austin Roses

The Font was so beautiful and such a joy to decorate, we used a garland and filled it with a plethora of fragrant hedgerow style flowers including; Dill, September Flower, Roses; Miranda, Rosalind, Sweet Avalanche and Emily, Hydrangeas, Sweet Williams, Dahlias and Sweet Peas, the foliages trailed over the sides and spilled down to the steps we included Passion Flowers, Meyerii Fern, Eucalyptus and fresh Ivy.
~
On the windowsill behind I used lots of Tree Ivy and Oak leaf with Huge Hurricane Lamps
The Lytch Gate was dressed on both sides, mainly because I couldn't decide which way the wind would be blowing, therefore which side would be used for photographs
Again we used lots of fresh materials including Larkspur, Hostas, Veronica and Phlox

The videographer Patrick was hysterical

Sue Becky's lovely Mum

These two were so thrilled with each other and so, so happy!
After everyone had left to go to the wedding breakfast we helped put the Church back together again, it would've looked spectacular for Sunday morning service!
We all thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful wedding, the families were just lovely, many thanks to Susan & Becky for choosing Flower Design
To Becky & Ricky, I just know you're going to have the best honeymoon ever and the most wonderful life together! xx
