This was a sensational wedding for some truly sensational people! I have really enjoyed the meetings we've had with Amy and her Mum & Dad and I am going to miss them not least because Pete & Amy are going to be emigrating to Japan!
~
Don't you just love a really happy Bride, even in her PJ's Amy looked gorgeous
The Bridal Bouquets I designed in vibrant shades to tone with the Bridesmaid's gowns, in typical Flower Design Events style we had included lots of unique and individual features to make the bridal flowers totally personal to the Bride & Groom, I loved the Maple used to represent Canada the home of our Groom and his family, I used English Garden Roses for the Bride's heritage and some Dutch Roses for the Groom's heritage.
The Bridesmaid's Bouquets were smaller simpler versions of the Bridal Bouquet
"...Sisters there were never such devoted sisters..."
The White Church, a wonderful Church, not just to decorate, it has everything, a truly dynamic Minister David Phillips he makes sure everyone feels welcome and I find myself really listening to his services, he seems to understand the true joy of a wedding day, very refreshing!!!
Not only that but they also have the very lovely Maureen the Church Warden, nothing ever seems like too much trouble, your allowed to throw confetti (In the Church gates).
We used our candlelit lanterns on the path, they keep the bumble bees and wasps at bay!
On either side of the front door we placed two Rose encrusted Bay Trees to frame the entrance
Inside this beautiful White Church
We had two magnificent candlelit pedestals to frame the ceremony space
We included Hollyhocks
And pale pink Delphiniums
Lovely Pew End Posies of Sweet Avalanche, David Austin's English Garden Rose Darcey, Godetia, Dahlias and Alchemilla Mollis
~
Just behind the Altar table we arranged a tall elegant symmetrical pedestal design
The Boutonnieres and Corsages ready to be pinned on
The Groom's very special Boutonniere of a Dutch Sweet Avalanche Rose, Canadian'ish Maple, English Blackberries & Rosemary
It looked even better on the super handsome Bride Groom Pete
~
The Usher's and Groom's Men's Boutonniere's were created from Sweet Avalanche Roses and Hydrangea florets.
We pinned all of the buttonholes on and they did look very smart
There was some very glamorous Grandma's wearing gorgeous outfits with matching wrist corsages

Amy's gorgeous Mum Liz
We'd created a wrist corsage to tone with her "Goldy Greeny Grey" ensemble
The fabulous Bridesmaids
The Bridesmaid's Bouquets were created to tone with the "Pinky, Raspberry, Coraly" coloured gowns, it was essential to blend the Flower shades to create the perfect balance of colour and character to the bridal bouquets.
I included Roses, Peonies, Godetia, Sweet Peas, Nerines, Sweet Williams, Blackberries, Hydrageas, Marjoram, Sweet Peas, Pepper Mint, Rosemary and lots more lovliness...
The Beautiful Bride and lovely Dad arrived in this superb Rolls Royce Phantom
Amy looked completely stunning in her Suzanne Neville Gown from the brilliant folks at Dreamcatcher Bridal
~
The Bridal Bouquet was a confection of Roses from David Austin, Maple, Godetia, Blackberries, Hydrangeas, Sweet Peas, I loved, loved, loved the exquisite half knot half bow the girls at Dreamcatcher made to match perfectly the lovers knot/bow on Amy's gown, I adore detail like this, huge thanks to Gill & Georgina for organising it for me!!!!
