Emma & Jonny (Link to Jonny's Blog) chose The Inn at Whitewell for their wedding day celebrations, the cosy surroundings were a perfect contrast to the winter weather outdoors. The Inn is a very special place, they always make us feel very welcome, I make Jason take me for dinner the day after when we go to collect the stands etc. the food I can report is sensational.
Emma's Kate Sherford gown and her bridesmaids gowns were from Dreamcatcher in Kirkham, they were absolutely perfect.
The Bouquets were created in a Flower Design Handtied style with White Nerines, Amnesia & Ruby Red Roses together with a lovely combination of natrally coloured foliages and berries.
The Lytch Gate at St. Michaels Church was dressed with Fresh Spruces, pines and evergreens we created a focal area of Deep Red Roses and hung lanterns to create a feeling of warmth and welcome, we lined the pathway with fresh fragrant red rose petals.
The Porch benches were dressed with long flowing designs of Euphorbia Fulgens, Chocolate Brown Cymbidiums and fragrant freesias laying on a bed of scented eucalyptus and holly.
The Door arch was draped with fresh winter ivy trails, Yew, Winter flowering Jasmine, Cupressus and red roses.
St Michael's was decorated for Christmas with a fresh illuminated Christmas Tree, lots of candles and fresh holly.
The Bride & Groom, Jonny's buttonhole was a White Yorkshire Rose and we used a beautiful Red Lancashire Rose in the brides bouquet.
The staircase garland wrapped around the banister and filled the passageway with fresh festive smells.
We used a huge secret garden style urn in the corridor to point the guests in the direction of the festivities. The design incorporated Choco Anthuriums, Hydrangeas, Amnesia & Red Roses together with a fabulous combination of Christmas foliages.
The amazing chocolate cake was made by Slattery's, it smelt unbelievable and seemed to fill the marquee with a perfume of chocolate. The cake was decorated with circlets of holly, spruce and rose buds.
There were huge hurricane lamps on some of the tables surrounded by orchids, roses and hibiscus pods.
The back of the chairs were dressed with posies of Roses, Orchids & Anthuriums, The chair covers were by Creative Cover Hire.
